Data logging which led to support at RM Curtis
RM Curtis pack a variety of dried fruit, nuts and seed products. As part of their continuous improvement plan, they were looking for a cost effective data capture system to trial to establish the current run rates on the line.
Faedah Solutions Ltd installed their Check Sure CI (Continuous Improvement) portable system to gather the data and display the information dashboard on a mobile tablet. While on site, the company approached the team to look at a damaged item, read rate issues and configuration to a current label verification system (supplied by others).
With our experience in label verification systems, the team quickly diagnosed the damaged item (replaced with new) and re-configured the scanner (which was mainly due to light reflection from the packaging) to improve read rates to 100%.
The company are now on the Faedah Solutions 24/7 365 support contract. Benefiting from site visits, training, spares and repairs, the company are seeing the benefit of support and reviewing expantions to the site systems with Faedah Solutions.
